Testimonial
Matt & Dianne, DunedinJust wanted to touch base to thank you again for the lovely experience you created for my family at 45 Sunderland Street.
We were very impressed with all of the details, lovely linens, beautiful styling, breakfast goodies, and welcome treats. We all very much enjoyed our stay and the kids loved spending time in the gardens and spa pool. Not to mention Dickson, he really is a character and the kids were so sad to say goodbye to him. Sebastian insisted I take a picture of him and have it printed out for his room!
So thanks again for everything. You have done a fantastic job in renovating the house and we feel very fortunate to have been able to experience it.
Charles Edwards, London.I stayed at Lou’s place at 45 Sunderland Street for five weeks whilst I was in Clyde working, and I can’t stress enough what a wonderful, comfortable time I had there. Lou from the outset was entirely amenable, entirely relaxed and constantly going out of her way to ensure that everything was right. She is the perfect host.
The house is just lovely - I was missing my little cottage in the UK but stepping into 45 Sunderland Street I felt immediately at home. The gardens are quiet, private and beautifully looked after and they are a joy to spend time in, and the hot tub is a major bonus in the evening with a glass of wine from the wine cellar. Yes, there’s a wine cellar.
Nugget the chicken, Dickson the cat and Bunny the dog are really delightful neighbours, as are their humans. Thank you so much Lou and family - you know I’ll be back if I possibly can be! It’s a truly one-off place to stay - don’t think twice if you’re considering it.
